Reminders:

• THS Fall Blood Drive is October 30th, click the link for more info!

• First Quarter Honor Roll recognition is Thursday, 10/31. 9th and 10th graders will be at 8:06 and 11th and 12th graders will be at 8:57.

• The freshman class is currently fundraising for next year's homecoming dance. All freshmen are selling Yankee candles now through November 1. The candles and other available products make great holiday gifts. Freshmen students should turn in seller packets to Mrs. Sammons in Room 316 by next Friday, November 1st. 

• Winter parent/athlete meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 6:00 pm in the gym.

• Veterans Day Breakfast and Assembly

• The sophomore class will have the chance to visit one of the Butler Tech campuses on Monday, November 25.  This field trip will allow students to see the educational opportunities and programs Butler Tech has to offer.  If you have any questions, please contact your student's school counselor or Bernie Phelps.

• Senior picture deadline for the yearbook has been set to March 6th.  Please email your senior picture to yearbook@talawanda.org before the deadline to make sure your image gets into the 2020 THS yearbook!

**Important Update!**

Talawanda School District- Directory Opt-Out Form has been updated

Per Board Policy 8330, the District has designated the following information about each student as "directory information":

A student's name; address; telephone number; date and place of birth; major field of study; participation in officially-recognized activities and sports; height and weight, if a member of an athletic team; dates of attendance; date of graduation; and awards received.

The Board will make directory information available upon a legitimate request unless a parent, guardian, or adult student notifies the District in writing by returning this form to the school where his/her child attends within 10 days of the receipt of this annual notice.  Please see the attached form or refer to the district website... https://www.talawanda.org/resources/forms-%2B-handbooks-3/
