School News and Information

Happy Friday! As a reminder our pick up day for materials will be Monday May 11th.

7:00 to 9:00 AM - Open Early Pick Up

9:00 to 10:00 AM - Last Names A to C

10:00 to 11:00 AM - Last Names D to H

11:00 to 12:00 PM - Last Names I to M

12:00 to 1:00 PM - Last Names N to R

1:00 to 2:00 PM - Last Names S to Z

Medication Pick Up Form

We have extra yearbooks for sale. If you did not order one please bring $15 cash to purchase a yearbook. You will simply place the money in a cash box and pick up a book.

Reminders

-Wait patiently to allow 6 feet between any other families picking up at the same time

-Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer before you arrive and wear a mask if possible

-Touch as few bags as you can when gathering your child's materials

-Immediately wash your hands when returning home with materials

-There will be a bin/cart for library books to be returned. Books from teacher libraries can be placed on the teachers table as well as reading textbooks.

Tootles - I want to give you the opportunity to acknowledge how your child is being a PAX Leader at home. Complete this form and let me know the positive things they have done while at home - this a great way to encourage the behaviors you want to see more of at home. You will then receive an electronic tootle form in your email congratulating your child. Tootle Form

Morning announcements will continue. If your child would like to be featured saying the Pledge of Allegiance and/or the PAX Leader Pledge, please send it to me at hintonc@talawanda.org. At this point I have used all of them that I received and have started to reuse previous ones until I receive more. As a reminder the link for morning announcements will be posted on the students Abre announcement screen, our Marshall Facebook page, and Marshall Twitter account.

Kindergarten Registration

We started collecting information about Kindergarten for next year before the school closings. If we have not taken your information yet and you have a child who will turn 5 before August 1, please complete this form and we will email you further directions for registering your child for kindergarten.

From the Transportation Department

This is a reminder that a new Transportation Request Form for each school year. The form can be downloaded from the Talawanda Website for each child so that we can make sure that we have the most current contact information. Please remember that babysitting arrangements need to be filled out on the Transportation Form as well because it doesn’t always carry over from year to year. Thanks for thinking ahead to next year.

Technology Update and Reminders

If your child is having issues with their iPad or ChromeBook, please let your child’s teacher know. We are working on swapping out the technology for working devices as soon as possible.
