Student and Parent Volunteers Needed!
The Psychology Department faculty at MU are looking for volunteers to help the clinical psychology graduate students taking a course about psychological assessment. The course involves learning about different assessment techniques, such as interviewing, observations and tests. The students need to practice these assessment methods with children and adolescents of all different ages and with parents. We are looking for child/adolescent and parent volunteers to help the students practice and learn. If you student does participate, he or she will most likely have fun and will earn a small reward/prize. The tests are interesting and challenging and most students really enjoy the interacting with the graduate students. Since the graduate students are just learning to administer the tests, the results are not considered to be valid so we cannot share the results/feedback of the assessment. Please contact Dr. Vaishali Raval (ravalvv@miamioh.edu) or Dr. Jen Green (greenjh@miamioh.edu) or call 529-2423 to learn more about helping our graduate students in their training to become psychologists.
