Thank you to the Mrs. Eckerle, Mrs. McWilliams, Mrs. Kelly and the Goggin staff for visiting Kramer and introducing skating and hockey. This event is a favorite for the Kramer students.

This week I am introducing our #FitWithFamily bulletin board to classes! Students are invited to bring in 1 picture of them getting fit with at least one other member of their family! The picture needs to be 4x6 or smaller. Please send a picture in with your child.
DI Information
Destination Imagination is an innovative creative problem-solving STEAM program for participants in kindergarten through high school. Teams of 5 to 7 students are challenged to solve one of six unique Team Challenges and an Instant Challenge with no adult assistance. Teams pick one of six challenges providing an opportunity to explore science, technology, engineering, fine arts, improv, and service. The season culminates with each team presenting at a tournament in the spring. Grades 3-12 compete against other area teams to qualify for competition at the Ohio state tournament and grades K-2 do a non-competitive Rising Stars challenge. Interest forms have been sent home in today's Friday Folders!
Our regional tournament will be held in March at Springboro Schools. Teams forming will require a parent or other adult that is willing to volunteer their time to be a team manager. Free Manager/Coach training sessions are available in the fall.
It is time to begin forming and registering teams for this year. Please contact me in the near future if you are interested in helping to coach/manage a Destination Imagination team this year. Without managers, we cannot have teams. We will be hosting an information meeting about Destination Imagination on Wednesday, September 18th, from 6:30-7:30pm at the Oxford Lane Library upstairs meeting room. Parents and students are welcome to attend. We will explain the program, how teams are formed, and how to become a team manager. Sign ups will also be available for children interested in participating.
