Happy Friday!

There is a PTG meeting on Monday night at 7:00 pm in the Kramer cafeteria.  Come out and hear the great things happening at Kramer. There are also volunteer opportunities.  

Summer School

Collecting gently used books for Summer School!  

Send donations to the school office.  

We would like books that Pre-K through Grade 3 kids can read independently!

Spring Gifted Testing

The Ohio Department of Education requires all school districts to offer two opportunities per year to parents/guardians to have their student assessed for possible gifted identification. All referrals for the Gifted Testing must be done using the electronic form linked below.  Phone calls to buildings or the Gifted staff will be referred to this form. We ask that parents understand that we have to schedule rooms, proctors, materials, etc. and that the earlier a parent/guardian requests testing using this form, the better it is for everyone.

Please note - formal gifted services do not begin until 3rd grade.   All second graders are assessed for gifted services in the spring. Spring Testing requests are due by midnight on March 31st. Referrals after March 31st will be placed on a list for the next testing round in the fall.  Talawanda provides parents/guardians with written notification of any assessment results within 30 days of receiving those results.

Event opens 10:00am- 5:00pm

Live birds from Hueston Woods State Park 11:00am

Awards ceremony Grades K-4, 12:45-1:15pm

Chris Rowland: Puppet show 1:30pm

Awards ceremony grades 5-12, 2:45-3:15pm

All entries were delivered to the OCAC, and will be picked up from the OCAC by Elise McWilliams, Art Teacher at Kramer.  All participants will get their artwork, certificate, and ribbon after the show ends, sometime during the week of April 2nd.  Gift bags will be given out at the awards ceremony unless the participant is unable to attend, then they will receive one after the show is finished, at Kramer.

Children’s Clothing & Toy Exchange

Children's Clothing & Toy Exchange on Saturday, April 10th.  This is a great community event. You can clean out your closets of items that no longer fit & stock up on new sizes.  It doesn't matter how much you bring or leave with, it's open to all. People bring clothing, shoes, toys & baby gear their children have outgrown.  There's usually a table of maternity clothes. If someone has items they want to donate but don't plan to attend, we can arrange a drop-off as well. Use this link for additional information.
