Bogan E-News - May 23, 2018
It’s been a great school year! We hope everyone has a great summer!
Report Cards
At the elementary level we are using three reporting periods. For the first two reporting periods, students are evaluated based on their progress toward end-of-year standards. In other words, students who receive a mark of “on track” for the first and/or second reporting periods are making consistent and adequate progress toward achieving end-of-year expectations. In the final reporting period, the report card marks reflect a student’s actual achievement of the cumulative skills, strategies, and concepts identified in the content standards. In the third trimester a student has either Met, Not Met or Exceeded the benchmark. There are no, “on track” marks for the third trimester.
