PTG Kid’s Night Out

Friday, Feb 28 6:30-900pm.  80’s themed costume contest, games, snacks, movies, crafts.  If you could volunteer, please return the PINK sign up form.

Bogan Fun Run Starts This Week

The entire school is raising funds for improvements to our Playground!! Our goal is to raise $10,000, and we need YOUR help!

Here’s how you can support Bogan:

• Register your student on funrun.com using this code:
  385-713. Once you do, your student will receive a FREE GIFT just for being registered. Then, use funrun.com to log pledges for your child.
• Reach out to sponsors. Every student’s goal is to connect with 10 sponsors. And with funrun.com’s smart sharing features, reaching out to sponsors is easier than ever. The easiest way to get pledges is to simply click the Facebook share button on your student’s pledge page. Plus, with a few clicks you can create a custom Student Star video to share on social media. You can also use the Easy Emailer to connect with friends and family. As you gather pledges, be sure to record each sponsor’s e-mail address so they have the opportunity to easily pay for your student’s pledge online via credit card.
• Ask your child about the MindSpark Wild West Lesson of the day! This year’s character program is MindSpark Wild West. Students will learn the SIX VIRTUES from a cast of colorful characters. Join along by watching the fun character videos with your child on funrun.com.
• Come to the Fun Run on 3/11! All students are included in the Fun Run, regardless of financial participation. Remember, students will be running 30-35 laps, and we would love for you to come out and cheer!

Spring Pictures

Picture Day is coming soon!  Tuesday, March 3rd is spring pictures.  LifeTouch has changed their procedure for spring pictures.  Please make sure you read the order form that was sent home with your child.  

Conferences

If your child is scheduled for conferences a letter has been sent home with your appointment time.  Don’t forget that we have conferences on Tuesday, March 3rd and Thursday, March 5th. Please contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions.

Arrival and dismissal procedures

Just a reminder, students can enter the building at 8:50 to eat breakfast.  The first bell rings at 9:05 to enter the building and the school day begins at 9:15.  We will have a new pattern of traffic for families picking up students in the afternoon.  Please see this map: Bogan Car Line Procedures

QuikApps Online Tool

We have implemented QuikApps, an online free and reduced meal application system, for the families in our district. QuikApps makes it easy for parents to apply for free or reduced meal status for their children using a simple, secure, step-by-step online form. Applications can be signed electronically, and eligibility for meal benefits is automatically determined once the application is complete.  Please use this link to access QuickApps information.
